Childress and Cunningham is poised to take on projects of many scales, including for those clients ready to scale up.  The proprietor of A Catered Affair had the opportunity to grow into a larger space that opened up new possibilities for them.

Being a former industrial supply shop, a change of use was needed for the building to become a catering service. Childress and Cunningham helped with the code required upgrades for the space to become a food preparation facility, including obtaining the necessary permits and documenting the new kitchen layout.  A commercial kitchen including a new range hood is clustered along one wall allowing both efficient production and space for future expansion. Upgrades to an existing toilet room were made for ADA compliance.
