Forager Coffee + Tea enjoys a prominent location on Main Street and is open for business in Milford, Ohio.  Forager enlisted Childress and Cunningham Architects to create a new upscale atmosphere for their establishment.

The deep commercial suite has been remodeled with a clean, edgy aesthetic.  Exposed structure and ductwork, polished concrete floors, and warm wood tones are featured throughout.  An efficient path to streamline the ordering for “to go” patrons has been created, along with options for window seating, sidewalk seating, and fireside environments for those who wish to linger and socialize. Large windows and cafe tables beckon foot traffic inside and give an indoor/outdoor connection to the activity of the street.

An attractive folding storefront window takes advantage of good weather to further engage the downtown block.  Structural issues were solved in order to remove bearing walls and add a new skylight to open up the space. Rounding out the project were updates to the facility to bring it up to modern code requirements.
