Let’s check in on the progress at Northstar Church, where Childress & Cunningham Architects has designed and is currently managing the construction of additions to enhance the functionality of the Church’s Care Center. The Care Center is a community outreach program for those in need of training and resources.  Above, we see framing of the new Youth Suite, whose programming is being relocated into this flexible airy space with dramatic open trusses.  Below, framing for new classrooms exhibits how Childress & Cunningham has skillfully designed the new spaces to integrate into the existing structure.

Here, we see a view looking west over the new foundation and floor slab that will soon anchor facilities for the Care Center, including a new entrance at the far end that will do double duty as an expanded lobby for Northstar Church on Sundays.
