As with so many older homes, this residence in historic Milford had abundant character but lacked livability. Childress & Cunningham expanded the home and modernized it with an intimate Hearth Room, a new Kitchen, two additional bedrooms, a Home Office and an attached Garage. The owner, a computer systems designer, was also a student of architectural styles. He desired a very interactive construction delivery system. Childress & Cunningham managed the construction of the project and coordinated the owner's contributions, including finish carpentry work in the Kitchen.
