Henry Heimlich’s grandson has a passion for architecture at a relatively young age. Childress & Cunningham welcomes young adults into our office to spend a few hours alongside our staff, to learn a little about all the processes involved in bringing a building to fruition. We enjoy their questions about construction documents, CADD systems, field work, presentations and all the other facets of the office.
At other times, these mostly high school students can visit a construction site, attend a “lunch and learn” presentation about construction materials, and have even been able to participate in a client meeting.
Our staff welcomes the opportunity to share our experience with those considering a career in architecture and/or construction management!
